What personal information we collect
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our activities. This may include:

- technical information automatically recorded by our web server when you visit this site, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of your visit.
This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect sensitive information.
How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you contact us, and automatically through server logs when you browse the site. You may contact us using a pseudonym, although we will need a working email address to reply.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and correspondence;
- let you know about a book release if you ask us to;
- operate, secure and maintain this website and diagnose technical problems;
- comply with our legal obligations.
We will not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless permitted or required by law. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Disclosure to others
We may share personal information with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website hosting and email providers, only to the extent needed for them to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers, including our email provider, may store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your information consistently with the APPs.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Server logs are retained only for as long as needed for security and maintenance, and we delete or de-identify personal information when it is no longer needed.
Mailing list
We do not currently operate a mailing list. If we introduce one, we will only add you with your consent, every message will include a way to unsubscribe, and we will update this policy before collecting any sign-ups.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@requillionpress.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days, and will not charge you for making a request. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing.
